History Hunts

Recently, six members of our club spent 4 days metal detecting on some very historic private properties in Virginia. Discoveries ranged from early colonial to the 1870s. Some amazing discoveries were made. Some of the highlights are pictured below. These included coins such as cut Spanish silver pistereens, indian head pennies including the key date 1877, a silver 3 cent piece, a large penny.
