March 2022 - Virginia 1 Club Outing

Recently, six club members got together to spend three days exploring some huge farms in search of history. They walked many miles but everyone recovered interesting bits of our history every day. The fact that the weather was very mild made the experience even more enjoyable. Pictured are some of our better discoveries from the outing. These include a Civil War Union eagle breast plate; Virginia coat button; several Civil War Union eagle buttons; two New York coat buttons; Confederate and Union fired and dropped bullets; Civil War artillery friction primers; several coins including an 1838 large cent; an assortment of colonial relics including a very interesting small bell; and a beautiful black and white glass cameo. Enjoy the pictures!
