Deep South Hunt #2 Highlights

The great weather and great hunting continued for this Deep South hunt. A team of five experienced History Hunters spent three days exploring a huge area consisting of thousands of acres. Needless to say we have much more left to explore!

The group made some very interesting and rare discoveries. Explanation of notable finds: Cache of pistol and small caliber musket shot (100+); numerous Civil War-issued bar lead marked, “St Louis Shot Tower Co”; concentration of rare plantation store tokens (30+); two Antebellum half dimes and an 1878 brass cow bell. Additionally other Civil War Confederate and Union dropped and fired bullets, Civil War buttons, clay and glass marbles and other coins were also discovered.
